Professional Theater Workshops
Nora has recently worked as an Assistant Music Director and Vocal Coach for a production of James and the Giant Peach. This meant she acted as the bridge between departments by being present at all meetings and rehearsals to help with the music and for those who needed extra vocal coaching. She carefully oversaw each element of the production to ensure the show ran smoothly during casting and all rehearsals, and performed script analysis as a dramaturgy. She facilitated the running of technical rehearsals when the production manager was unavailable, ensured headlines were met, and attended all tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances. She assisted the cast and stage crew backstage during the performances to help with lighting and props. Nora's assistance was required both backstage and onstage, which helped her learn more about the technical part of theater. She also helped create costumes for the show due to her love for costume design. Having experience as an Assistant Director for the first time allowed her to gain a multifaceted perspective of the business side of theater.
